Ribs Design for plastic part prototype

Most plastic products have ribs, because ribs can greatly increase its overall strength without increasing the product thick , large and force product is particularly useful, while preventing product deformation.

Ribs thickness is usually taken as a whole thick plastic 0.5-0.7 times, as it is easy to shrink more than 0.7 times. There need draft angle 0.5-1.5 degree for high ribs to release ribs.

• Increase chamfer avoid air trapped at part top

• Direction of the ribs is consistent with the direction of the plastic melt flow
