The cooling system in the plastic mold design

The heat released in the injection molding process is cooling time, the cooling water or oil will take away the heating from the melt resin. Perfect the cosmetic surfaces and good efficient production are based on the even mold temperature.
The mold temperature need be considered from 3 elements:
Cosmetic appearances
Resin physical performance
Molding cycle time
We need compromise these 3 factors to determine mold temperature. Low mold temperature will improve production efficiency, but some resin and part cosmetic appearance need higher temperature. The cooling speed need to be even, to avoid the internal stress in the different part portion.
