How to control plastic die cost (2)

Die cost occur in the whole processing, from part design to mold trial. Each processing will create cost.

• To reduce the mold trial times

1. No matter the cost, or lead time, mold trial times should be controlled. In many factory, it's very difficult to control, not just one person responsibility, it's depended on the factory whole quality system.

2. Die structure is not reasonable, or the modification after mold trial is not correct, or the manufacture processing is not very well

• Didn't select suitable injection machining or injection parameters

Don't know the resin property very well, even the resin shrinkage is wrong

• Qualified steel material and standard components

Every company face the cost pressure, sometimes will select a more economical steel material or components, but perhaps we lose more.
