Review contents after the plastic mold trial (6)--Air venting

​In the modification of plastic mold, we often modify the air venting to improve the injection result. How many elements we need consider?

• Whether correct way for air venting (absorb air, venting groove, venting pin, venting all circle surfaces etc.)

• Whether it is suitable of the clearance for the air venting

• Whether Position of the venting groove is good to air venting ( usually on the end of resin flow )

• Whether Position of the venting pins is good to air venting ( usually on the internal close position of resin flow )

• Consider the quantity of the venting pin is sufficient for air escape

• Consider the structure of the venting pin, whether good to the air escape or not

• Whether efficiency of the air venting is satisfy with the injection speed or capacity of the air venting
