Everyone care about the die cost, ask to reduce the die cost. But what elements will affect the cost? How to control them? We focus on them on every project.

• For a die, it start from the part structure design, and it affect the cost most.

You can imagine, if the part structure is designed very tough and unreasonable, the die factory how to face them, die cost rise much accordingly. Sometimes to implement a undercut on the part, die need be much more complicated

• Modification of the part

In most time we need modify the part design, even the die is after trial. If the modification don't affect the die structure, it could be fine. But how to face when the die structure have to be altered for the part modification, or the die scrapped.

• Die design reasonable

For a die design,there must be some defect existed even it's designed by a very rich experiences engineer, perhaps consideration are not very comprehensive. So the design reviewed in the meeting is better, people with distinct experiences to give advice on the die design
