Plastic mold trial contents (5)--Determine the optimized cooling time

​In molding processing, the cooling time is a large part of the whole time. How to get the optimize cooling time to shorten the whole cycle time? What elements will affect the cooling time?

1. Estimate a cooling time under a good molding condition (After the parts full of filling) (Select a long cooling time to cool the plastic parts completely). produce 3 shots according to this long cooling time, then measure this part dimensions.

2. Record the parts dimensions, to observe the situation of the part warpage

3. To reduce the cooling time 1 second every time, and produce 3 shots under each situation

4. Until the plastic part begin to warpage and its dimension reducing

5. Each part should be measured after the plastic cooled completely (around 15 minutes)

6. To determine the cooling time, We should consider the part dimension stability
