To find out hold pressure time is one job in the plastic mold trial, how to do it? In fact, we need work out the gate frozen time. at that time the part weight will not increase according to the hold time extend.

• Set the hold pressure 1 second at first, and produce 3 shots

• Increase the hold pressure time each time, reduce the cooling time accordingly to keep the whole cycle time same

• Produce 3 shots for each parameters, weigh the parts weight. Find out the time when the part weight won't increase again.

• This time is the gate frozen time, also the hold pressure time
